Lately i´ve been very inspired... but had no time to blog... But since this next Saturday i´ve a costume party at Marina´s (ex colleague, actual super cool buddy).. i couldn´t help thinking... what about a 80´s glam rock look? And nothing says "glam-kinda-girly- rock" that.... Jem and the Holograms! that was one of my favourite cartoons!!! (i´m posting a video of the intro... i case you´re asking: who the neon colors is Jem??)
Anyway... i decided to go for a Jem kinda look, but more modern!
And... since i was REALLY inspired, i decided to practise i little bit; so in an extremely boring saturday afternoon, i said to my sis: hey, let´s have an 80´s photo shoot session! And so i made on her an AWESOME neon-glammy make up... it was something like this:
Isn´t it the coolest thing ever?? man... i´m proud of myself!
Anyway... i´m still looking for some 80´s clothes to complete my glammy look... think i´m gonna go directly to my mum´s closet haha!
Man... sometimes i wonder why i could not live in that awesome neon era? i kinda lived it, i was born in the last 80´s (11th march of 1989 to be specific)... but i didn´t enjoy it! My mum though, she was soooo freaking stylish! kinda like cindy lauper or madonna... i have to find those pics!
So guys... in case you´ve missed the 80´s... here there are some cool stuffs about that... my hair frizzes just to see this pictures! And in case you´re wonderng HOW do i know all these 80´s facts... let me tell you... i´ve been kinda raised with 80´s music, so when your momma was singing to you lullabies, mine was singing "lost in love" from air supply, or "africa" from toto... hahaha^^
